Exporting and Importing Address Books

Outlook Express

Exporting

Open your Address Book

Go to File, Export, Address Book (WAB)

Save the Address Book to your desired location and click Save

Importing

Open your Address Book

Go to File, Import, Address Book (WAB)

Open the location where your Address Book is saved and click Open

Microsoft Outlook

Exporting

Open Microsoft Outlook and go to your Contacts Folder

Click File, Import and Export

Choose Export and click Next

Choose "Personal Folder File (.pst) and click Next

Choose Contacts as the file to Export and check the box beside "Include Subfolders" and click Next

Select a Save Location and click Finish

Importing

Open Microsoft Outlook

Go to File, Import and Export

Select Import from another program or file and click Next

Select (.pst) as the file type and click Next

Open the location where your Contact list is saved and click Open then Next

Select Personal Folders as the file to import and click Finish

Netscape

Exporting

Open Netscape

Choose Communicator then Address Book

Choose File, Export, and then Save your Address Book

Importing

Open Netscape

Choose Communicator then Address Book

Choose File, Import, Choose LDIF File (Address Book) and click Next

Browse to the saved Location of your Address Book

Click Open

Netscape to Outlook Express

Follow the instructions above for Netscape to Export your Address Book

Importing

Open Outlook Express

Go to File, Import, Other Address Book

Choose LDIF-LDAP Data Interchange Format then click Import

Choose the Saved Location of your Netscape Address Book and click Open

Netscape to Microsoft Outlook

Exporting

Open Netscape

Go to Communicator, Address Book

Click File, Export

Select a Save Location, then name the Address Book

Change the "Save as Type" to Comma Separated (.CSV) and click Save

Importing

Open Microsoft Outlook

Go to File, Import and Export, Choose Import from another Program or File and Click Next

For the file type choose Comma Separated Values (Windows), click Next

Browse to the Saved Location of your Address Book click Next

Choose Contacts as your Destination folder click Next then Finish

Outlook Express to Netscape

Follow the instructions above to Export your Outlook Express Address Book

Importing

Open Netscape

Go to Communicator, then Address Book

Go File, Import

Click Outlook Express click Next

In the next window select the Address Book to be Imported (If you just exported one Address Book, nothing will be listed. It will automatically select the Address Book you exported.)

Click Next if your had to select a Address Book or Skip if you did not have to select an Address Book

Click Finish

You may need to close and reopen Outlook Express to see the importing Address Book

Outlook Express to Microsoft Outlook

Follow the instructions above to export your Outlook Express Address Book

Importing

Open Microsoft Outlook

Go to File, Import and Export and choose Import Internet Mail & Addresses click Next

Choose Outlook Express click Next

Select your import Destination Click Finish

Click Save in Inbox

Microsoft Outlook to Outlook Express

Exporting

Open Microsoft Outlook, Choose File, Import and Export, the choose Export to a File click Next

Select Conna Separated Values (Windows) and click Next

Select Contacts to export and click Next

Save the file click Next then Finish

Importing

Open Outlook Express, Choose File, Import, Other Address Book

Select Text File (Comma Separated Values) click Import

Browse for your saved Address Book click Next

Check the boxes for the fields you would like imported and click Finish
