Exporting/Importing Email and Bookmarks Between Mail Clients

Exporting Email and Other Folders from Outlook Express to Microsoft Outlook

I. Open Outlook Express

II. Select File, Export

III. Messages

IV. Click OK on the exporting to Microsoft Outlook Message Box

V. Select files to be exported

VI. Click OK

VII. Open Microsoft Outlook (All your folders exported items should be there)

Exporting Email and Other Folders from Microsoft Outlook to Outlook Express

I. Open Outlook Express

II. Select File, Import

III. Messages

IV. Choose Microsoft Outlook, Next

V. Select Folders to be imported, Next

VI. Finish

VII. All your imported items should be there

Exporting Email from Netscape to Any Program

I. Forward the Messages to your own email address

II. Open Microsoft Outlook or Outlook Express and click Send and Receive

III. Your messages should have been sent you as forwards

Exporting Bookmarks from Internet Explorer to Netscape Communicator

I. Open Internet Explorer

II. Select File, Import / Export

III. Choose Export Favorites, Next

IV. Select Favorites folder, Next

V. Export to an Application (Netscape Navigator or Communicator should be listed in the drop down menu depending on your version), Next

VI. Click yes to replace files, Finish, OK

VII. Open Netscape Communicator

VIII. Select Communicator, Bookmarks

IX. All your IE Favorites have been imported

Exporting Bookmarks from Netscape to Internet Explorer

I. Open Netscape

II. Select Communicator, Bookmarks, Edit Bookmarks

III. Select File, Save As

IV. Save your bookmarks somewhere where they are easily found (such as your desktop)

V. Open Internet Explorer

VI. Select File, Import/Export, Import Favorites, Next

VII. Choose Import from a File or Address, and Browse for the location of your saved Bookmarks, Next

VIII. Choose the Favorites folder, Next, Finish, OK

IX. Select Favorites on the tool bar and your Netscape Bookmarks should be there!
